# hecigo Ads Insights: Three platforms. One question. One table.

> Ask Claude or any MCP assistant about Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads: spend, conversion value and ROAS, bidding targets, locations and audiences, ad copy, and why delivery stopped. Real numbers from the platforms, without opening three dashboards.

**Paste into your assistant's connector settings:** `https://ads.hecigo.com/mcp`

No key goes into the assistant. It opens hecigo's sign-in page for you.

- Claude lists it under Read-only tools
- hecigo cannot read your key back
- Revoke access at any time

## Sign in to get started

Where you connect ad accounts and manage your key. https://ads.hecigo.com/

**No invite code?** Message hecigo on [Zalo](https://zalo.me/3108963776852260798) or write to [hi@hecigo.com](mailto:hi@hecigo.com). Zalo is usually faster.

## Why read straight from the API

Meta's Clicks column also counts image taps and taps on see more. On a real account, dividing spend by that number understates the cost of a site visit nearly sevenfold. Ads Insights keeps the two apart.

**2,207** clicks Meta reports versus **317** real link clicks.

## From pasting an address to your first answer

1. **Paste the address.** Add a connector in your assistant and paste `https://ads.hecigo.com/mcp`. No key needed.
2. **Sign in, connect accounts.** The assistant opens hecigo's sign-in page. You grant access to your ad account on Meta's or Google's own screen, and never hand anyone a password.
3. **Ask.** Ask in plain language, the way you would ask a colleague. The assistant picks the right tool and merges numbers from every connected platform into one table.

## Ask the way you would ask an ads specialist. Click to copy.

Each question below combines one or more tools: performance and ROAS, settings and targets, ad copy, search terms, Performance Max. The assistant picks the tools, with numbers straight from the platforms.

- `ads_insights`, Weekly report for the owner: "Summarise the last 7 days, excluding today, against the 7 days before: total spend, conversion value, ROAS and cost per conversion by platform. Name the 3 campaigns that lifted results and the 3 that dragged them down, with the numbers behind each."
- `ads_settings + ads_insights`, Actual ROAS against target: "For each running Google campaign, put its configured target ROAS or target CPA next to its actual ROAS and cost per conversion over the last 30 days. Which campaigns miss their target by more than 20%? Do not read targets from campaign names."
- `ads_settings`, Audit what counts as a conversion: "List the conversion actions counted in the conversions column and used for bidding, with their lookback windows and attribution model. Is anything like a page view or a first app open inflating conversions?"
- `ads_search_terms`, Cut spend on wasted search terms: "Over the last 30 days, which search terms spent money without converting? Rank them by cost, group them by theme, propose a negative keyword list and flag terms that mention competitors."
- `ads_asset_groups`, Audit Performance Max: "For each Performance Max asset group: ad strength, 30-day ROAS, which assets Google rates LOW and should be replaced, and whether its audience signals and search themes fit what we sell."
- `ads_settings`, Check targeting: "Which campaigns look mistargeted: locations outside the markets we sell to, location matching by interest rather than presence, missing exclusions, or a Search campaign with the Display Network switched on?"
- `ads_insights + ads_creatives`, Which creative deserves more budget: "Compare running ads over the last 14 days by cost per conversion and ROAS. For the best 3 and the worst 3, read their headlines, copy and destination links, and explain what sets them apart."
- `ads_insights + ads_entities`, Rebalance budgets: "Based on 30-day ROAS, current daily budgets and impression share lost to budget, which campaigns should get more, the same or less budget? Suggest a figure for each and explain why."
- `ads_delivery + ads_entities`, Why spend dropped: "Spend yesterday was far below normal. Check account status, spend caps, rejected ads, ineligible campaigns and daily budgets, then give the main cause first."

Be explicit about the date range and the level: account, campaign, ad set or ad. To reconcile with Ads Manager, pick the same dates and leave today out, because presets such as Last 7 days in Ads Manager exclude today.

## Every promise comes with a mechanism you can check.

Anyone can write the word secure. Here is how hecigo builds it, and how to verify it without taking hecigo's word for it.

### Promise: Cannot change your ads

- **Mechanism:** Every tool declares `readOnlyHint`. There are no write tools today. When there are, a read-only workspace will not see them.
- **Check it yourself:** In Claude's connector settings, the tools sit under Read-only tools.

### Promise: hecigo never sees your password

- **Mechanism:** You grant access on Meta's and Google's own consent screens. Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with `PKCE S256` required.
- **Check it yourself:** While granting access, the address bar shows facebook.com or accounts.google.com.

### Promise: hecigo cannot read your key back

- **Mechanism:** The workspace key is stored only as a `SHA-256` hash. Ad tokens are sealed with `AES-GCM`, and no endpoint returns them.
- **Check it yourself:** The portal cannot show your key, not even to you. Rotating it stops the old key within 60 seconds.

### Promise: Revoke at any time

- **Mechanism:** Disconnect each platform in the portal. Revoke access on the platform itself. Refresh tokens rotate on every use.
- **Check it yourself:** After revoking, ask the assistant to check connections and that platform reports an error.

### Promise: No data mixed between customers

- **Mechanism:** Each request builds a client for exactly one workspace. Numbers are fetched from the platform when you ask, not copied into a store of our own.
- **Check it yourself:** Ask it to list accounts: only the ones you connected appear.

### Limits, stated up front

- Google Ads has a single permission scope, and it includes changing campaigns. The real barrier is the Read only role of the account you authorise with, set on the ad account itself. Authorise with an account that has only that role.
- Revoking a workspace key can take up to 60 seconds, because of edge caching.

## Three audiences, three kinds of questions

### Business owners

Want to know where the ad money goes without opening three dashboards or learning each platform's jargon.

Try asking: "How much did we spend across platforms this month, and how many leads came in?"

### Ad specialists

Compare creative by cost per result, and catch an ad pointing at the wrong destination before it spends more.

Try asking: "Which ad is spending the most without a single landing page view?"

### Agencies and engineering teams

Group several ad accounts into one workspace and query across them. Need it on your own infrastructure? Write to hecigo.

Try asking: "Which accounts have rejected ads?"

## What is connected today, and what is in review

Each platform opens to customers once it approves hecigo's app. The integrations are built; what remains is each platform's own review.

Updated 13 September 2026.

- **Google Ads** (Ready): Performance, configuration, creative and diagnostics. Connect it yourself in the portal with your Google account.
- **Meta Ads** (In Meta's review): The same tools as Google Ads, already running on a first real ad account. Once Meta approves, you connect it yourself with one button.
- **TikTok Ads** (In TikTok's review): Built, waiting for TikTok to approve hecigo's app.
- **Campaign changes** (In design): The assistant drafts a plan, a person approves that exact plan, and only then is it applied. Everything created starts paused.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which assistants does it work with?

Any client that supports the Model Context Protocol with OAuth sign-in. It runs in production on Claude.

### How is this different from analysing ads in Claude Cowork?

Ads Insights does not replace Cowork; it plugs into it, as a connector. Without it you export files from each ad manager or let the assistant drive a browser into Ads Manager: the numbers are stale the moment they are exported, every platform names its columns differently, and the assistant sits in a signed-in session that can edit ads. With it, the assistant reads each platform's API when you ask, the numbers arrive as one table, and no tool can change an ad.

### Do I need an invite code?

Usually not. Signing in with Google creates your workspace straight away. When hecigo reviews sign-ups first, you get an email once approved; for a faster answer, message hecigo on [Zalo](https://zalo.me/3108963776852260798) or write to [hi@hecigo.com](mailto:hi@hecigo.com). An invite code or workspace key you already hold still goes in the field under the Google button.

### What does hecigo store about my ads?

Performance numbers are fetched from the platform when you ask, not copied into a store of our own. hecigo keeps sealed access tokens and your workspace name.

### Can it change campaigns?

Not yet. Campaign changes are being designed as two steps: the assistant drafts a plan with a diff, and a person approves that exact plan before it is applied.

### How do I stop using it?

Disconnect platforms in the portal, revoke access on the platform itself, or write to [hi@hecigo.com](mailto:hi@hecigo.com) to delete your workspace with written confirmation.

### Is there a user guide?

Yes: step by step from adding the connector to your first question, with fixes for common problems. [Read the guide](/guide).
